Benin, Africa, has always been a dream mission for us—a place where we could contribute to helping street kids in need. These children are lovingly cared for by the dedicated Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco, whose tireless efforts require substantial funding and energy to sustain. Our mission is driven by the No Limits team, as part of Friends of Don Bosco Malta, under the mentorship and guidance of our devoted friend, Bryan Magro. His unwavering support has helped Fay and myself to realize our dreams. This journey would not be either possible without the vital assistance of our sponsors, particularly Paradise Bay, Laferla Insurance, and Mapfre Middlesea Insurance. Thanks to their generosity, we are able to provide these young children with essential items, including educational materials, hygiene products and big sacks of rice and pasta. To all our supporters, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. This year marked our second visit to Benin, made possible by Fay’s physical presence and her inspiring Salesian spirit. Following the footsteps of Don Bosco in her heart, Fay has helped us to understand the children’s needs more closely. Together, as a team, we continue to plan our path forward, striving to realize our ambitions and future goals for this mission to flourish. As the saying goes, “Alone, we move faster; but together, we move further.” Nothing is impossible when you believe in your mission, because love truly opens all doors and these kids teach us the best lesson of love. With Loving kindness as taught by Don Bosco we strive to continue winning smiles.
