The aim and purpose of Bosco Platform is to bring together Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco by providing a platform to facilitate networking of various groups with diverse interests. The Bosco Platform will develop a database of past pupils and friends of Don Bosco who are interested to join the different groups of interest. Each group in the Bosco Platform will have a social purpose and abides to the spirit of the Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco.
The Platform will set up different sectors according to the different interests that past pupils and Friends of Don Bosco may wish to promote and cultivate. The overall aim is help past pupils and Friends of Don Bosco to become:
The purpose of the Bosco Platform is to help children and young people to enter the world of work through the contacts of past pupils and friends of Don Bosco who are already established in their work environment.
The aim is to help and guide young people to find a job that best suits their needs and capabilities through the help of members of the Bosco Platform who are involved in business, in professional work or in services. Members of the Platform can also be supported in identifying the right employees and they can match the employability skills of young people with a Salesian reference.
Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco are witnesses to Christian principles and ideals which they practice in their everyday lives and in their work. They embrace a trustworthy, responsible and honest business and professional relationship.

The past pupil and friend of Don Bosco seeks to promote and share the experience that they have gained in their education and formation with the Salesians of Don Bosco. After being formed in the Salesian spirit, the past pupil and Friend of Don Bosco is called to help others in the same way that they been educated and formed.
The Bosco Platform provides its members to gather together and seek ways on how they can assist the Salesian of Don Bosco, other members of the Salesian Family, and especially children and young people who are poor, abandoned and in need.
