Last week, we celebrated the conclusion of a beautiful collaboration between Friends of Don Bosco and the Gabriel Caruana Foundation, Perceptions of Being. This journey brought together young people and older residents, creating a meaningful space where ideas and personal perspectives on current matters were shared openly. Stories were exchanged, songs fondly recalled, and moments of laughter reminded us of the deep connections that can form across generations.
Our intergenerational programme in Valletta, made possible through our collaboration with the Housing Authority, continues to offer a safe and welcoming environment where our old and young residents come together to learn from one another, grow together, and provide mutual support. By fostering understanding and connection between generations, the programme strengthens our community and highlights the value of shared experiences, respect, and belonging.
