The Maltese National Federation of Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco signed an agreement with the Government of Malta on youth faith tourism.
Through this agreement, the Salesians in Malta will promote Malta as a destination for young people through educational and spiritual experiences for young people and educators from various countries.

The Minister for Tourism, Clayton Bartolo, who is also a past pupil of Savio College, said that this agreement will strengthen the niche of faith tourism especially for young people, a sector which he says Malta has high potential in.  “We are looking at this niche as one of the pillars on which we will be building the tourism sector for the coming years.” he said.

National President Bryan Magro said that they look forward to start this project which will be another opportunity to educate children and young people to become “upright citizens and good Christians”.  This agreement will provide various opportunities for young people to be able to visit the island where St. Paul was shipwrecked and gain from educational and pastoral activities through tourism.
