For the annual feast of St. John Bosco, the Maltese National Federation of Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco organised a solemn Mass at Porto Salvo Church in Senglea. The mass was celebrated by Fr. Jake Mamo who is the new Salesian Delegate for the National Federation of Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco.
In his sermon, Fr. Jake shared his thoughts on Don Bosco’s “gaze” and his “heart”. Don Bosco’s gaze was unique, powerful and engaging. He had a big heart and gave his life and all his love to the young.
The Mass was animated by a choir under the direction of the Fr. Aurelio Mule Stagno. The mass was also streamlived on the Facebook Pages of the Salesians of Don Bosco and the Maltese Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco. Fr. Paul Spiteri took care of the technical details of the transmission.
