How It Works

Through this initiative we help your business to grow through advertising and networking.  It is also an opportunity that whilst your business is growing, you can show your corporate social responsibility by helping us to help others.  All income will go directly to social solidarity projects lead by our organisation. This initiative has no administrative charges as it managed by volunteers.

Among our projects, we provide a residence and a mentoring service to young people who are homeless or lack the support of a family, as well as supporting poor children in Burundi.

BoscoPages Packages

Approved subscribers need to purchase packages in order to post adverts. There are three types of packages to choose from: Bronze, Silver and Gold, with prices as under. The differences between packages is the number of adverts that a subscriber will purchase. Every advert will be activate for 1 year.

BoscoPages Promote Adverts

Adverts may be promoted so that they can be listed differently. There are three types of packages to choose from: Highlight Ad, Top Ad and Urgent Ad, with prices as under. The differences between these three options can be viewed in the Promote Your Ad tab.

In order to post an advert, users are required to register and create an account. Anyone can register, however it is up to the discretion of the Maltese National Federation of Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco, to approve or otherwise a user registration.

Anyone wanting to register needs to click on the Login / Register icon found on the top right hand corner of the page, and marked in red below.

A Login window will pop-up. To register a prospective subscriber will need to click on Don’t have an account? Create one here link, at the bottom of the window. Enter a user name, email address and password – it is important to read agree to our Terms and Conditions before clicking on the Register button. Subscriber account has been created, now it is waiting for approval by the Maltese National Federation of Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco. A notification email will be sent once the approval process is complete.

In order to post an advert, users are required to login with an active and valid account.

Anyone wanting to login needs to click on the Login / Register icon found on the top right hand corner of the page, and marked in red below.

How it works Register / Login icon

A Login window will pop-up. To login enter a valid username or email address and associated password. Subscribers may click on the Login button to access the subscriber’s dashboard.

Subscriber’s Dashboard – Visit Account

Following a successful login, subscriibers may access the subscriber’s dashboard by clicking on the Visit Account icon located on the top right hand corner of the screen and marked in red in the image below.

Here is a brief explanation of how subscribers can make good use of the dashboard. If additional help is required feel free to contact us.

Settings: This page is used to update the subscriber’s account with further details as well as to change password.

Messages: This page is used to view and manage messages received by online users.

Logout: Use this icon to logout from the dashboard, once you are done.

Dashboard: This page gives subscribers a better view of their account as well as a detailed view of the  submitted adverts.

Your Ads: Lists all the posted adverts. For every advert, a subscriber may view, edit, delete and promote using the icons available on the right of every advert.

Edit (Advert): Advert details are loaded and subscriber may update details as required. On  pressing Save the advert is sent for review and approval.

Promote (Advert): Select Promote an Advert tab on this page, to understand the difference between the various promotions offered. When selecting Promote, subscriber can apply a promotion to the specific advert, by selecting the promotion required and clicking on Purchase button at the bottom of the pop-up window. Purchasing can be done by either entering valid Bank account details or through PayPal. The Maltese National Federation of Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco will be required to approve and activate the promotion.

Add New Advert: Select Submit an Advert icon on the top right hand corner of the page.

Favorite Ads: Shows a list of adverts which subscriber has selected as favorites, by pressing the heart icon for the specific advert.

Packages: In order to submit an advert, the subscriber will be required to purchase a package of advert(s). This page will display the packages available. Subscriber may purchase any package, by selecting the Purchase Now at the bottom of the required package. Purchasing can be done by either entering valid Bank account details or through PayPal. The Maltese National Federation of Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco will be required to approve and activate the purchased package.

Invoices: Lists all orders and related invoices issued so far by the Maltese National Federation of Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco.

Adverts are posted on the BoscoPages. They are listed by the date when they were posted, however the online user may choose how to display the adverts by selecting options from the available drop-down.

Adverts can be added and submited only after an Advert Package has been purchased and approved.

To add a new advert, subscriber will need to click on the Submit an Advert icon available at the top right hand corner of the page, as shown in red below.

How it works Submit Advert

A new page is loaded allowing the subscriber to enter the details of the advert they would like to submit. Subscribers may add up to 5 images and 1 video for every advert. Every advert submitted is active for 365 days (1 year). Enter all required details – it is important to read and agree to our Terms and Conditions before clicking on the Save Ad button. The advert has been created, now it is waiting for approval by the Maltese National Federation of Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco. A notification email will be sent once the advert has been approved and is published.

Subscribers may add and advert to any of the categories listed below.

Online users can view adverts by category.

There are three ways that subscribers may promote their advert.

Highlight Ad

By selecting to promote advert by Highlight Ad the listing will remain in it’s current position but will be highlighted, so that it is more visible.

Top Ad

By selecting to promote advert by Top Ad listing will be displayed in two positions – at the top of the list and in its current position. The advert will also be tagged as Featured.  There shall only by 6 top adverts appearing at the same time.

Urgent Ad

By selecting to promote advert by Urgent Ad listing will be tagged as Urgent. 

Online users may also filter adverts that have been set as Urgent.
