T2M: Torino to Malta Campaign

T2M (Torino to Malta) is a fundraising initiative taking place in September 2026, centred around a long‑distance cycling journey from Valdocco, Torino, to Malta. This extraordinary challenge is being undertaken by David Gauci and Redent Roderick Spiteri, who are dedicating their journey to support two causes close to their hearts: Hospice Malta & Friends of Don Bosco.

Friends of Don Bosco, work to empower young people to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.

Through every kilometre travelled, T2M transforms physical endurance into a powerful act of solidarity – a way of putting hope in motion.

Why This Journey Matters

As witnesses to the impact that care and compassion can have in someone’s life, David Gauci and Redent Roderick Spiteri carry this journey with a deep sense of purpose.

What drives them forward is not only the challenge itself, but the desire to give something back – to honour the people and stories that have shaped them, and to support those who continue to face difficult moments with courage.

Their journey becomes more than a route from one country to another. It becomes a living expression of gratitude, resilience, and hope.

During my time with Hospice Malta, there were moments when everything felt uncertain and overwhelming. What stayed with me most was not only the support I received but the way I was treated with warmth and understanding throughout that period. In moments where I felt lost, their presence brought a sense of calm that I still carry with me today.

Young Person Supported by Friends of Don Bosco

There was a period in my life where I genuinely did not know where I was heading. In this residence, I found more than just a place to stay, I found people who believed in me when I struggled to believe in myself. Little by little, with their guidance and support, I started rebuilding my confidence and looking at the future differently. It gave me the chance to feel independent again and to believe that my situation did not have to define my life.
